How did he propose?
It was on my birthday in 2019 and he came to drop off flowers at work, all my colleagues knew except me. He went down on one knee in front of all my colleagues and asked me to marry him.
How did you find the planning process?
It was hectic as I’m a PA, so I am a perfectionist. However, it was the stress that I could handle. I knew what I wanted and was willing to compromise.

My neighbour is a baker so she did the desserts. We are a small community so the ladies in my street all had to compromise their yards as I had a big wedding. The marque took over 8 houses and the gates.
Marriage is such a big deal, at what point did you know you were ready. I was born ready… joking…I prayed for him and when I met him I knew he was the one.
Tell us about your suppliers, how did you find them?. Would you say your suppliers delivered as promised? They all delivered as promised and I was happy. I found all my suppliers through my connections.
Did you learn any lessons through your wedding journey? If so can you tell us of 3 lessons you’ve taken away based on your experience…
Do NOT loan or depend on people for help as they will disappoint you last minute. Do everything yourself and plan well before the wedding. It really reduces stress. Always put God first in all decisions you make.
What was the favourite part of the wedding? My dad walking me down the aisle. I’m the firstborn so seeing him that proud warmed my heart.
What would you say to couples planning their wedding at the moment? Plan well in advance…take your time and trust God in everything you do together.
Now that you are married, has life changed much? Do you both have the same friends or are you making new ones? If so tell us a little about how you are adjusting…the only thing that has changed is that we are now living together. We kept the same friends.
