As the summer weeks wind down, it will soon be winter. As the seasons change so does everything else, from flower prices to venue hire prices. Most things will be slightly lesser than in the summer months.
To be honest I like summer but I’m looking forward to winter months (even though I feel the cold). I have a couple of weddings I am working on and so I’m excited to see the faces of my clients as they see their vision realized.
I don’t know if it’s the holiday spirit or Christmas hype but there is just something extra ordinary about winter weddings.
So for those of you planning a winter wedding here are two mood boards to get your creative juices flowing.
Blush Pink and Gold
Blush for winter weddings? Isn’t blush associated with only summer weddings? No my lovely, Blush is a perfect color for winter weddings too. Why? 1. It is not expected to be used in winter. 2. It looks elegant if paired with gold or white on white decor.3. It is timeless. Your wedding photos will still look current even after decades.
Aqua, White and Silver
Aqua is a beautiful color. Mixed with white and a hint of silver, this color palette will absolutely wow your guests. One thing I love about this color palette is that you don’t have to work too hard, it looks beautiful every time. With a couple of snowflakes projected on the ceiling or dance floor or walls, candle light, a few tall centerpieces; you can achieve an elegant look.
