Morning my preciousness. Its been a hectic few days here at Pure Pearls Luxury Events HQ trying to find a dry hire wedding venue for a bride to be and doing a zillion other things all at once. It seems like there isn’t enough dry hire venues in and around London. Maybe its just me but trying to find a presentable, nice looking and affordable venue is almost impossible especially if you have a low budget. I know sometimes dry hire venues seem like a cheaper option but try to compare what you would get for your money elsewhere before committing to a blank canvas sort of venue. The following factors will most probably affect the price:
Budget:Your Budget will definitely determine whether or not you get a presentable venue. If you want something decent enough in the eyes of your guests then you will have to dig a little deeper in your pockets. Smart dry hire venues don’t come cheap. Affordable Yes, but not cheap
Location: Your location will definitely affect the price. If you are looking at a dry hire venue in London expect to pay a bit more than someone searching in Suffolk.
Equipment and Extra’s: while hiring a dry venue may seem like a less expensive option bear in mind that you will also have to think about the costs of equipment that you will need like hiring chairs, tables, lighting, cutlery, glasses waiters, security staff (especially if you are having 300+guests) to make sure the day runs smoothly. Don’t forget about parking for your guests. Some venues (especially center located venues ) will not have parking spaces so you will need to arrange/ hire parking spaces near by.
Here are a few dry hire venues/ venues that allow you to bring in your own caterers, alcohol and everything you desire.
Shoreditch Town Hall is one spectacular venue. If you want to wow your guests then this is the right venue.
If its vintage your after then the Old Finsbury Town Hall is the best venue for you. It is unique, elegant and classy. One of my favorite venues by far only because it has character and you could just put tables and chairs in it without too many decorations and it would still look amazing.
A modern stunning venue set on the fringes of the picturesque village of Cold Norton set in over 250 acres of Essex countryside. The building is light and airy and boasts unrivaled views of rolling fields, manicured gardens and a beautiful lake. This is truly a magnificent venue and you have the freedom to style it which ever way(within reason of course) you wish.
What can I say about this beautiful urban industrial space. If you are looking for a blank canvas with a lot more added extras then I suggest you visit this gorgeous venue and have a look at what they have to offer. It is much cheaper in the winter season
The Thatch Barn is a Grade II listed building and the winner of an English Heritage Award. The barn itself is situated in the Cambridgeshire countryside providing a beautiful backdrop. I think this beautiful barn would be suitable for intimate weddings and it’s good value for money.
Braxted Park is a picture perfect venue and can accommodate up to 350 guests. The thing I like most about Braxted Park is that the tables, chairs, a dance floor and stage are included in the hire price. A ceremony room is made available together with changing facilities. Bar services are optional and catering is provided by your own preferred outside caterer who will supply food, cutlery, crockery, glassware and linen.
Burloes Hall Hertfordshire
If you are in the Hertfordshire area and looking for a dry hire venue with spectacular views then Burloes hall is the perfect venue. It has generous lawns bordered by handsome beech trees and mature yew hedges which enclose secret Edwardian gardens offering old world charm. The estate is within easy reach of London, the M11 and the A1 and well served by railway stations from central London.
