I’m so sorry I missed you yesterday. I’m currently working on the blog’s data at the moment. I’m experimenting and playing around with settings to see how I can best improve the blog. In the next couple of months, I plan to turn this little space into a proper business and knowing the exact stats is crucial. I’m still drawing up a business plan and will tell you all about it in due course. For today though I have a gorgeous Eastern Cape wedding for you to lust after.
I can totally understand why Ayanda and Simphiwe chose to hold their ceremony at Barkly East. The Dranksberg mountain is the perfect backdrop for photographs. Everything about their wedding screams elegant vintage. Ayanda’s lace dress, the headpiece, hairstyle, and other accessories, all work well together. This is some serious inspiration for you vintage-loving brides.
Their portrait session is also on point. For a very hot day, Dawid and his team captured this wedding perfectly and below is what he had to say about this wedding.
“Ayanda and Simphiwe decided to get married in Barkly East, Eastern Cape which is the hometown of Ayanda. It was a long 11-hour drive, but eventually, we arrived in this little town, that seems to have been frozen in time. Barkly East was a beautiful little town, with friendly and warm people, and everyone was excited to finally join Ayanda as she marries the love of her life Simphiwe.
The venue was set at the beautiful foot of the Drakensberg mountain range. With the mercury hitting 42 degrees on this day, we had no choice but to stock up on water and sunscreen for this Eastern Cape wedding”.
