Morning Precious! I’m going to do things a little differently today. I know you’re probably expecting a real wedding this morning. But I thought I’d share my first EVER review. You’ll be seeing a lot more reviews around here in the next couple of weeks. Don’t worry though the next real wedding will go live on Thursday. So for my first review I chose Roberto Cavalli Acqua Perfume.
Before I start with the review let me share my perfume story and hopefully I’ll get to hear your scent story in the comments box. Please don’t be shy to share; as they say sharing is caring.
My Perfume Story
My love for perfume goes back to my high school days and the first scent I ever tried on Calvin Klein CK one. I was 16(yes that late, blame it on my strict dad) and remember my friends and I planning little trips to the mall every Friday after school, just so we could experience the Calvin Klein effect. Gosh it took us forever to get to the mall however there was some sort of excitement, naughtiness even about testing perfumes on our wrists and on our school uniform when the store assistants weren’t looking.
I’m not sure why we never saved up enough money to afford the ck one. I guess we weren’t destined to own it. The one perfume I remember buying years later (when I finally become financially free from my parents) was Locoste Pink. To this day I still love it but I think it’s for teens and I’m a bit grown up for it, just a bit.
Roberto Cavalli Acqua
So I’ve been wearing this gorgeous scent for the past few weeks. I’ve loved it so much so I had to suggest it to you as a perfect wedding day scent. It was inspired by the Mediterranean Sea and long summer days. It’s seductive, sensual, aquatic, fresh and a pleasure to wear. It’s long lasting( a good nine hours or so, however I’m very generous when it comes to perfume, my husband thinks I BATHE in it ha-ha!). Although it’s originally made for summer I think it can be a delight to wear in winter as well.
I’ve received so many compliments wearing it and I would recommend it 100% plus it’s not that expensive and at just $57.50 for 70ml it’s well worth the money.
Psst… forget department stores, shop around online. If possible get your perfumes from the UK or the US, you’ll pay a lot less. For awesome places to get perfumes click here
So there you have it, I hope you loved this review.
